Station 2 is located on Cedar Lake Road, just south of the intersection of Rollins Road and Cedar Lake Road in Round Lake Beach. The original station was built in 1967 and had three apparatus bays. A fourth apparatus bay and living quarters were added on to the south end of the station in 2002, and in 2022 the station was completely renovated. As part of the renovation, the southernmost apparatus bay was converted into office and training space for the on-duty crews and new living and sleeping quarters were constructed. Station 2 is staffed by a minimum of three and maximum of five Firefighter/Paramedics. It houses an Engine, Reserve Engine, Dive/Sonar Boat, UTV, Rescue Pickup Truck and two ALS Ambulances.
